The 3M Cubitron II Hookit Sanding Disc 775L features the 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain and represents a revolutionary development in sanding technology. Our film discs grind up to two times faster and last up to six times longer than normal abrasives.
Use the 3M Cubitron II Hookit Sanding Disc 775L to grind twice as fast with a disc that lasts up to six times longer than normal abrasives. Our discs have a film backing that offers greater tear resistance and better edge retention than paper discs. These film discs contain abrasive grains that are pre-formed into triangular calibrated abrasive points (3M Precision Shaped Grain) that cut through metal like a knife, instead of grooving or gouging like traditional abrasives. These tips constantly sharpen themselves as small pieces break off, cutting through material extremely quickly. 3M offers a complete line of Hookit Velcro discs for workshops where self-adhesive discs can become contaminated by dust or dirt. Hookit discs usually give a finer finish than self-adhesive discs, and are therefore often used in applications where a 3M Stikit Disc may be too aggressive. Hookit Sanding Discs are easily attached with Velcro to a backing pad (sold separately). They can be easily removed and reused throughout their useful life. Use this sandpaper with 3M Eccentric sanders.
